Affinity started off life as Northern Ireland’s first Cultural Diversity Magazine in 2013 – with it’s popular print publication reaching over 10,000 readers each quarter.  In 2020, we decided to move online and create a talent database of people from diverse backgrounds who work in television and the creative industries in Northern Ireland, both in front of and behind the camera, to bring forward diverse voices.  The Affinity talent database was set up with a desire to put diversity at the forefront of our industry in Northern Ireland, and to professionalise the way TV companies recruit and cast.
